STADIUMS QUEENSLAND
Marble Arch Consulting successfully designed and implemented a large, distributed Aruba ClearPass system for Stadiums Queensland, covering three stadiums and sporting facilities for wired and wireless edge security. The project aimed to enhance security controls for corporate and IoT use cases while maintaining high availability across the venues.
Marble Arch Consulting worked closely with the vendor, the customer, and third-party integrators to ensure the project's success across multiple technology streams. This collaborative approach facilitated seamless communication and coordination, enabling the integration of diverse technologies, and ensuring all stakeholders' requirements were met. By leveraging the expertise of each party, Marble Arch Consulting was able to design and implement a robust and scalable Aruba ClearPass system that provided enhanced security and high availability for Stadiums Queensland.

BREWING COMPANY
Bundaberg Brewed Drinks undertook a comprehensive upgrade of their network infrastructure across five locations, including two bottling plants. The legacy network hardware was replaced with Aruba SD-Access, which includes Aruba CX switching, Aruba Gateways, and Aruba Wi-Fi 6. This upgrade provided a significant boost in network performance and reliability.
Across all locations, Aruba SD-Access was implemented with Aruba ClearPass to power security policies. This ensured that every device on the network is authenticated, eliminating the presence of unknown devices. The deployment of Aruba Gateways provided a single point of control, enabling advanced features such as micro-segmentation to enhance security further and manage network traffic effectively.

COURT SERVICES
Marble Arch Consulting (MAC) was engaged to facilitate upgrading a customer’s UC environment.
The engagement with involved a meticulous overhaul of their UC infrastructure.
We commenced the engagement by assessing the customers’ existing UC platform, infrastructure, and firewall rules. The project proceeded with strategic planning sessions to outline migration timelines and methods. We developed a detailed migration plan with a comprehensive testing strategy to ensure compatibility and functionality once the environment was upgraded.
During the build phase, we implemented significant enhancements, including rebuilding VMware hypervisors, updating server configurations, and deploying various Cisco Systems such as TMS, CMS, and CUCM. Installing new power rails and updating DNS records and firewall rules for enhanced security have led to tangible benefits for our customer.
Digital security certificates were procured to safeguard operations, and automation tools were implemented for video endpoint settings, improving efficiency and security.
In the migration phase, voice and video endpoints were successfully transitioned, followed by rigorous testing to validate system integrity. MAC provided post-migration hyper-care support to ensure system stability until transition to customer’s internal operational support.
The project concluded with comprehensive documentation of the new infrastructure, knowledge transfer sessions, and the decommissioning of the refreshed equipment, which was End-of-Life (EoL).
This structured approach ensured a seamless and efficient upgrade of our customer’s UC environment, aligning with their operational needs and enhancing overall system reliability and performance.
COAL COMPANY CONSOLIDATION
Marble Arch Consulting was contracted by a multi-billion dollar national resources organisation to rationalize and consolidate their edge data centres, which included one in Telstra CSX cloud and one on-premise High Availability (HA) Data Centre, down to a single, consolidated infrastructure.
This project aimed to streamline external connectivity, incorporating Public Internet, external services (B2B IPSec, Corporate VPN), and Public Cloud (AWS, Azure) into one logical edge location.
The primary goal of this initiative was to enhance the performance, efficiency and manageability of data centre services by consolidating them into a single, coherent infrastructure.
This consolidation not only reduced the complexity of managing multiple data centres but also improved overall performance and security whilst reducing overall cost.
Key Features of the Implemented Solution Consolidated Security: Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls were selected to uplift and collapse the 4 legacy firewalls into a single HA instance, consolidating all semi-trust and untrust networks to the enterprise.
Consolidated Carriage: Leveraging a combination of Telstra and Megaport connectivity services for internal and external connectivity to Internet, remote business locations and Public Cloud services.
External Services: The solution provided seamless connectivity for Public Internet, external services (B2B IPSec, Corporate VPN) and Public Cloud services (AWS, Azure), all consolidated into one logical location.
Improved Security and Performance:
By rationalizing and consolidating the data centres, the project simplified and enhanced security measures and optimized performance across the network.
Scalability and Flexibility: The new infrastructure is designed to be easily scalable and flexible, allowing the business to adapt to future growth and evolving business needs.
The project was led by Marble Arch architects and consultants who worked closely with business stakeholders throughout the initial feasibility and TCO study, through to the design and implementation activities.
